April 29, 2003
I thought perhaps you might be able to help, even though this is not
related to the Book club. There are several of us from Manitoulin that
would like to hike in your area over a period of several weeks (one
day per week) to really explore the beauty around there. Could you
suggest different trails we might be able to use. Someone has mentioned
the area where the railroad track is being torn out (not sure if this
is closer to Espanola or Willisville), but there might be a place where
the men might fish while the women hike. We thought we might be able to
make sure there is a vehicle at the other end of each excursion to
facilitate the hike and allow us to go further than we might otherwise.
If you are unable to help, could you suggest someone else that we might
be able to turn to. I hope you don't mind us turning to your group for
assistance..... Your Book club sounds very interesting and I think I
might be able to get involved next fall.
Thank you for any help you may be able to give. Perhaps some of your
members might be interested in joining our group on some of these
hikes. Looking forward to hearing from you.
(willisville.ca note..We sent Linda some hiking
and fishing information.)
